The National Observer qualification is the next step for Observers who have achieved the Local Observer qualification, achieved by an on-road, practical assessment of your observing and riding skills conducted by a Regional Quality Manager or one of his deputies.

The Local Observer qualification is the IAM entry level qualification for our observer teams; you need this qualification if you wish to observe for the IAM.
